RESOLUTION NO. 2006-105
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE ADJUSTMENT
OF THE BASE SALARY FOR THE TRAINING OFFICER POSITION
WITHIN THE CITY OF PARIS FIRE DEPARTMENT; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore on June 13, 2005 in
Resolution No. 2005-069 adjust the base salary for the Training Officer position within the City of
Paris Fire Department reducing the starting salary from $45,084.00 to $40,125.28; and,
WHEREAS, the Fire Chief of the City of Paris has recommended to the City Manager
adjustments to the salary for the position of Training Officer within the City of Paris Fire
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that such adjustments are appropriate
and in the best interest of the City; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That effective the pay period beginning July 29, 2006 and ending August 12,
2006, the salary for the position of Training Officer within the City of Paris Fire Department shall
be adjusted as follows:

Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
