6. Public Hearing on the City Manager's proposed Budget for fiscal year 2006-
2007 for the City of Paris.
7. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
A. Awarding the bid and authorizing the execution of a construction
contract for the TxDOT Pine Mill Road, Loop 286 NE Separation Project,
Utility Line Relocation Project.
B. Approving and authorizing the execution of an Agreement with the
Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for the temporary closure
of state right-of-way in support of the 2006 Festival of Pumpkins.
C. Accepting responsibility for 10% of the cost of right-of-way for the
improvement of Loop 286 from US Highway 82 (west of Paris) to FM
Highway 137; authorizing the execution of a contractual agreement to
contribute funds - Local Government.
D. Approving and authorizing the execution of DSHS Document No.
7560022067 2007 (ATTACHMENT NO. 01 - Purchase Order No.
0000320622), for regional and local medical services.
E. Authorizing the City Manager to cast the vote for the City of Paris for the
TML Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool Board of Trustees - TML
Region 15 ballot.
8. Presentation on the 211 System.
9. Citizens Forum.
(Citizens desiring to appear under this item must limit their presentation to
two (2) minutes in duration. Under the Open Meetings Law, because advance
notice of the subject matter of each presentation was not received in time to
appear on the agenda, City Council is limited in its response to referring the
matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with
specific factual information. Claims against the City and individual personnel
appeals are not appropriate for Citizens Forum).
