A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE SALE OF TAX DELINQUENT PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS A MOBILE HOME (PROPERTY ID #107637) LOCATED AT THE SHADY OAKS MOBILE HOME PARK, 1825 NE LOOP 286; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Trustee, Texas, has become the owner of a mobile home (Property ID # 1 07637) located at the Shady Oaks Mobile Home Park, 1825 NE Loop 286, by virtue of a tax foreclosure which placed the mobile home in the name of the City of Paris Trustee for North Lamar lSD, Paris Jr. College, and Lamar County; and, WHEREAS, a potential buyer of the property has come forward, being the owner of the mobile home park where said mobile home is located; and, WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of all the taxing entities involved that the property be returned to its respective tax rolls; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, a bill of sale in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, and any and all documents necessary to convey the property described as a mobile home (Property ID #107637), located at the Shady Oaks Mobile Home Park, 1825 NE Loop 286 to Charlie Thompson for and in consideration of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 9th day of October, 2006. Richard Manning, Mayor r" BILL OF SALE STATE OF TEXAS ~ COUNTY OF LAMAR ~ THAT the City of Paris, Trustee, a municipal corporation by and through its Mayor, Richard Manning, Seller, duly authorized by Resolution No. 2006 attached hereto as Exhibit A, of Lamar County, Texas, in consideration of the payment of the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) cash, receipt of payment acknowledged, do hereby sell and transfer to Charlie Thompson, Shady Oaks Mobile Home Park, 1825 NE Loop 286, Paris, Texas 75460, Buyer, ofthe following described personal property, to-wit: A MOBILE HOME LOCATED ON SPACE 11 IN THE SHADY OAKS MOBILE HOME PARK, CITY OF PARIS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, ASSESSED IN THE NAME OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TRUSTEE, ON THE TAX ROLLS AND RECORDS OF LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS (ACCT #107637 CITY OF PARIS, NORTH LAMAR lSD, PARIS JR. COLLEGE & LAMAR COUNTY) Seller warrants that it is the lawful owner ofthe described property by virtue of a Tax Warrant referenced in Bill of Sale dated September 20, 2005, recorded in Volume 1671, Page 203 of the Real Property Records of Lamar County, Texas. Seller binds Seller, its successors and assigns, to warrant and defend the title to all of the described property to Buyer, its successors and assigns, forever against every person lawfully claiming the described property or any part of it. This Bill of Sale shall be effective as to the transfer of all property listed in it as of October 9, 2006. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Bill of Sale is executed on the 9th day of October, 2006.
