2005-016-RES APPROVING CITY MANAGER'S APPOINTMENT OF A CITY LIBRARY DIRECTOR
RESOLUTION NO. 2005-016
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE CITY MANAGER'S APPOINTMENT
OF A CITY LIBRARY DIRECTOR; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 23 of the City Charter requires the appointment of department heads
by the City Manager, subject to the approval of the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager has designated Ms. Priscilla McAnally to serve as the
City's new Library Director; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to confirm and approve the aforesaid appointment
of a new City Library Director; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution ale hereby in 311 things
approved.
Section 2. That the appointment of Priscilla McAnally by the City Manager to fill the
position of City Library Director shall be and is hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after it5 date of passage.
