Meeting Minutes
March 22, 2006
Present: Gail Dority, Richard Manning, Gary Vest, Curtis Fendley, Becky Semple, Helen
Short, Roy Gwinn, Bobby Walters, George Kimbrough, Brady Fisher, Mindy Moree,
Jamie Fussell from The Paris News.
Chairman Richard Manning called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.
Becky Semple presented the board members with the directors hand book.
New Business: The minutes were approved on a motion made by Roy Gwinn seconded
by Gail Dority.
Chairman Richard Manning presented the events funding request for YWCA to the board
for discussion and possible approval for funding.
Gary Vest presented possible line items that funding could come from in the budget.
After lengthy discussion Bobby Walters made a motion to fund $1000 for promotional
efforts with the provision that the V &CC logo would be listed on all promotional material
printed. The motion passed on a second by Brady Fisher with 7 unopposed and 1
opposition.
With no further business to come before the board the meeting was adjourned on a
motion made by Bobby Walters seconded by Brady Fisher.
