TEXAS <br />THURSDAY. NOVEMBER 30. 2006 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br /> <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by <br />Chairman Arvin Starrett at 12:00 P.M. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chairman <br />Ann Rogers <br />Sharon Nabors <br />Nancy Partridge <br />Susan Scholz <br /> <br />The following members were absent: <br />Pike Burkhart <br />Paul Denney <br />Alternates: Vanessa Preston <br />Brian Wear <br /> <br />B. Also present was Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer. <br /> <br />2. Consideration of and action on the following Certificates of Appropriateness: <br /> <br />A. 18 w: Plaza - Paris Community Theater, by April Inman - Motion was <br />made to approve the COA by Ann Rogers, seconded by Susan Scholz. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />B. 114 1st Street S.E. - Greg Wilson - Motion was made to approve the <br />COA by Sharon Nabors, seconded by Nancy Partride. Motion carried <br />5-0. <br /> <br />C. 136 Bonham Street - Michael and Sadatra Gaines - Sadatra Gaines, <br />2517 Kessler Drive, stated that she has a contract to buy the Dixon <br />Building. The current use for the building is mixed and she is planning <br />to continue in that same fashion by adding 2 additional residences. Ms. <br />Gaines passed around a drawing of the side elevation. No work is <br />being done on the north side at this time. Motion was made to approve <br /> <br />1"' <br />
