05-G Traffic Commission Min 2-5-07 Minutes Traffic Commission City of Paris The Traffic Commission met on Tuesday, February 5,2007, at 5:15 P.M. in the Municipal Courtroom with the following members present: 1. Ed Seidle 2. George Kimbrough 3. Jordon Harper 4. George Fisher 5. Jon McFadden The city staff was represented by Assistant Chief of Police Bob Hundley. The meeting was called to order at 5:27 by Acting Chairman Ed Seidle. Mr. Seidle asked the commission members to review the submitted minutes of the November 14, 2006 meeting. Mr. Fisher made a motion to approve the minutes which was seconded by Mr. Harper. The motion carried 5-0. Mr. Seidle then moved to item #3 for a request for a stop sign at the intersection of a new street, SW 44th Street and Bonham Street stopping northbound traffic. Mr. McFadden moved to approve, Mr. Jordon seconded and the motion passed 5-0. Mr. Seidle then went to agenda item #4, a request for stop signs at the intersection of NW 11 Street and Henderson stopping traffic that would be northbound and southbound on NW 11. Mr. McFadden moved to approve, Mr. Harper seconded and the motion passed 5-0. Mr. Seidle requested a speed study on Bonham street to lengthen the 30 mile per hour zone further west from the 2000 - 2400 block. Mr. Seidle asked to for information on the Pine Mill Road and NE Loop 286 overpass construction project for next meeting. Mr. Kimbrough asked about the W Price Street plans. Information was provided that the street had been closed and that new and more appropriate barriers on N. Main and NW 1st Street were being sought to block off the 10 block of W. Price. Mr. Seidle then asked for a motion for adjournment, which was provided by Mr. Kimbrough and the meeting adjourned. Bob Hundley Assistant Chief of Police . - ,
