Dear Mr. Williams:
I am an independent contractor retained by SBC/ AT&'[ to assist in acquiring easements
for upgrading their current telecommunications facilities.
SBC/AT&T is currently seeking to acquire a thirty foot by twenty foot(30'X 20')
easement on the southeast comer of the intersection of Clarksville Rd. and Collegiate
Ave. The easement will be occupied by an above ground metal cabinet approximately
seventy-five inches (75") high, eighty-nine inches (89") long, and forty-one inches (41")
wide. The cabinet is essential for providing Digital Services Lines (DSL) and increasing
and enhancing telephone services to businesses and residences in the area.
Enclosed are two maps of the property with the preferred easement location designated.
If approved, SBC/ AT & T will hire a registered land surveyor to produce a certified plat of
the proposed easement. Also, enclosed is a copy ofSBC/AT&T easement document for
your review. All cables running to this cabinet will be underground, and this cabinet has
nothing to do with cellular services. There will be no antennas/cell tower erected on this
site. The proposed site has been reviewed by the City of Paris Engineering Dept.
SBC/AT &T will landscape and/or erect a fence around the perimeter of the easement as
the City of Paris deems necessary, and is offering three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) for
the proposed easement. I assure you that SBC/AT&T is willing to work with the City of
Paris in order to reach an agreement that satisfies all parties. Please contact me at
