President Sims Norment called the meeting to order at 4:03 P.M.
Minutes from January 9,2007 meeting were approved on a motion made by John
Wright seconded by Glen Bawcum.
Financials from the month of December were presented and approved on a
motion made by Glen Bawcum seconded by Rodney Bass.
Rodney Bass reported that the contract with Millennium Outdoor advertising will
expire in March. Mr. Bass also reported that the billboard was not in a good location.
Dick Severson made a motion not to renew the contract with Millennium Outdoor
Advertising. The motion passed on a second by John Wright.
The board went into executive session at 4:10 P.M. to discuss the employment
contract for the Executive Director Candidate; and possible discussion on C- Tech
negotiations.
Executive session was closed at 4:16 P.M. The board returned to open session and
a motion was made by 1. Wright to hire Pete Kampfer as the new Executive Director,
subject to the contract that has been established. The motion was passed on a second by
Glen Bawcum.
With no further business to come before the board, the meeting was adjourned at
4:20 P.M. on a motion made by Glen Bawcum seconded by Rodney Bass.
