1. Call meeting to order.
2. Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Approval of minutes from previous City Council meetings. (4/12/07)
4. Consideration of and action on the following ordinances:
A. Amending Article III "Curfew Regulations for Children" of Chapter 21 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris to revise Section 21-56 Law
Enforcement Procedure for administering the Curfew Ordinance and
making other findings and changes related thereto.
B. Amending Section 6-34 (a) of the Code of Ordinances by increasing the T-
hangar rents by 7.5%.
5. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
A. Approving change of Council Meeting date from Monday, May 28, 2007 to
Monday, May 21,2007.
B. Authorizing the application for a Recreational Trails Grant through the
Texas Parks & Wildlife Department Recreation Grants Branch to extend
the Trail De Paris east a distance of approximately 0.8 miles.
C. Approving and authorizing the execution a Joint Election Agreement
between the Paris Independent School District and the City of Paris to
share certain common polling places for the May 12, 2007 election.
D. Approving and authorizing the execution of a grant application to the
Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, through the Ark-Tex
April 23, 2007

Council of Governments, for a Violence Against Women Act Grant in the
amount of $95,749.00, with the City of Paris providing $79,040.00 in the
form of in-kind services.
E. Approving and authorizing the execution of the Executive Search
Agreement between The PACE Group and the City of Paris to conduct a
search for a new City Manager.
6. Citizens Forum.
(Citizens desiring to appear under this item must limit their presentation to two
(2) minutes in duration. Under the Open Meetings Law, because advance notice
of the subject matter of each presentation was not received in time to appear on
the agenda, City Council is limited in its response to referring the matter to a
future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual
information. Claims against the City and individual personnel appeals are not
appropriate for Citizens Forum).

· Paris Library Advisory Board Meeting scheduled Wednesday, April 25,
4:00 p.m. in the Library Gallery.
· Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting scheduled May 7,2007,5:30
p.m. in the Council Chambers.
