RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
APPROVING CHANGE OF COUNCIL MEETING DATE; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the 28th day of May, 2007 is the Memorial Day Holiday, which conflicts with the
regularly scheduled fourth Monday City Council meeting; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the regular fourth Monday meeting of the City Council
scheduled for May 28,2007, be moved to Monday, May 21, 2007;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That the regular fourth Monday meeting of the City Council scheduled for May 28,
2007, be, and the same is hereby, rescheduled for Monday, May 21,2007, at 6:00 o'clock P.M.
Section 3. That a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Hall Bulletin Board giving notice
of the rescheduling of the regular fourth Monday of May Council meeting, and that the news media be
informed of the rescheduled date in the same manner they are informed of emergency City Council
meetings.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
