SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PARIS
June 4, 2007
The City Council of the City of Paris met for a special session at 6:00 P. M. Monday,
. June 4,2007, at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas.
Present:

Council Members: Will Biard; Mary Ann Fisher; Kevin Gray;
Stephen Brown; Don Wilson; and Bill
Strathern, Mayor Pro Tern
City Staff:
Ernie Clark, Interim City Manager; Kent
McIlyar, City Attorney; and Janice Ellis,
City Clerk
1. Mayor Free1en called the meeting to order.
2. Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor Free1en noted the absence of a flag in the meeting room and moved to item
number three.
3. Convene in Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government
Code, to discuss potential city manager candidates with the PACE Group.
Mayor Free1en convened Council into Executive Session at 6:02 p.m.
4. Reconvene in Open Session.
Mayor Free1en reconvened in open session at 8:00 p.m.
5. Adjournment.
There being no further business, Council Member Biard made a Motion to adjourn and
Council Members Strathern and Brown seconded the Motion. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
