RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the terms of office of Brad Archer, Chad Brown, Mary Crumpler, Zach Saffle
(Alternate), and Chris Brown (Alternate), as members of the Building and Standards Commission
of the City of Paris, expired on June 30, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the (re )appointment of
[NAME(S) 1 [and the appointment of [NAME(S) 1] for terms
of two (2) years, beginning July 1,2007], and ending June 30, 2009;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That the City Council has received and reviewed the recommendations of the
Mayor for the Building and Standards Commission and hereby approves and appoints the following
persons to serve on the Building and Standards Commission.
Section 3. That [NAME(S) 1 be, and (he/she/they) (is/are) hereby,
reappointed, and that [NAME(S) 1 be, and (he/she/they) (is/are) hereby, appointed
to serve as members of the Building and Standards Commission of the City of Paris for terms of two
(2) years, beginning July 1,2007, and ending June 30, 2009.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.

Declare a structure dangerous or substandard and determine the remedy for having
the structure comply with the ordinance.
