A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Kent Marshall and Benny Plata, as members of the
Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, expired on June 30, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointment of
Benny Plata and the appointment of Curtis Fendley for terms of three (3) years, beginning July 1,
2007, and ending June 30, 2010;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, TEXAS.
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That the City Council has received and reviewed the recommendations of the
Mayor for the Planning and Zoning Commission and hereby approves and appoints the following
persons to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Section 3. That Benny Plata be, and he is hereby, reappointed, and that Curtis Fendley be,
and he is hereby, appointed to serve as members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
of Paris for terms of three (3) years, beginning approximately July 1, 2007, and ending June 30,
2010.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
