(NOTE: It is respectfully requested that presentations before the City Council be
confined to two minutes or less.)
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Public hearing on the proposed Budget for fiscal year 2007-2008 for the City of
Paris, which hearing shall begin at 6:00 p.m.
4. Consideration of and action on proposed amendments to the proposed budget.
5. Consideration of and action on a resolution setting the time and date for a public
hearing on proposed amendments.
6. Public hearing on the City's proposal to increase tax revenues from the preceding
tax year and to set the tax rate for 2007.
7. Consideration of and action on a resolution setting the date, time and place for Vote
on tax rate.
8. Consideration of and action on a resolution declaring the Main Street District as
a blighted area, declaring the need for improvements to the sidewalks in
certain portions of the Main Street District in order to address one of the
conditions which qualifies the area as a blight.
9. Adjournment.
