RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
TEXAS, AND THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF LAMAR COUNTY,
TEXAS, REAPPOINTING MR. TED GIBSON, AND REAPPOINTING DR.
ROBERT MOSELEY AS MEMBERS OF THE PARIS-LAMAR COUNTY
BOARD OF HEALTH; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS
RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Mr. Ted Gibson and Dr. Robert Moseley, as members
of the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health, will expire on December 31, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, with the advice of the County Judge of Lamar
County, Texas, does hereby recommend the reappointment of Mr. Ted Gibson, and the
reappointment of Dr. Robert Moseley, for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 2008, and
ending December 31, 2009;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF THE COUNTY OF
LAMAR:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That Mr. Ted Gibson and Dr. Robert Moseley be, and they are hereby,
reappointed, to serve as members of the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health for terms of two (2)
years, beginning January 1,2008, and ending December 31,2009.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.

Seven members; residents of Lamar County for a period of more than three years next
preceding time of appointment; three practicing physicians, one practicing dentist;
three citizens; two year staggered terms; appointed by joint action of Lamar County
Commissioners Court and the Paris City Council.
To advise the Director on health matters.

PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
Nine members; citizens of the City of Paris; taxpayers; qualified voters; three year
staggered terms; Mayor recommends & Council appoints; meets the first Monday of
each month.
Reviews the requests by citizens and corporations for changes in zoning inside the
city limits of Paris and makes recommendations to City Council for the approval or
disapproval of those requests.
