A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
TEXAS, APPOINTING CLIFTON FENDLEY AS A MEMBER TO THE
MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERM
OF LISA HOUSE, WHICH EXPIRES MARCH 31, 2009; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Main Street Advisory Board
of the City of Paris due to the resignation of Lisa House, and it is necessary to appoint her successor;
and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of
Clifton Fendley to serve the unexpired term of Lisa House, which ends March 31, 2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, TEXAS: ,
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That Clifton Fendley be, and he is hereby, appointed to the Main Street Advisory
Board of the City of Paris to serve the unexpired term of Lisa House, which ends March 31, 2009.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
