(Citizens desiring to appear under this item must limit their presentation to
two (2) minutes in duration. Underthe Open Meetings Law, because advance
notice of the subject matter of each presentation was not received in time to
appear on the agenda, City Council is limited in its response to referring the
matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with
specific factual information. Claims against the City and individual personnel
appeals are not appropriate for Citizens Forum).
4. CONSENT AGENDA.
~Matters of a roufine nature are placed on a single consent agenda for
C►ty Council consideration. Items appearing on a consent agenda are
approved by a single vote of Council, with such approval applicable to
all items appearing on said agenda. If any Council member desires to
discuss and consider separately any item appearing on the consent
agenda, that Council member may do so by requesting that the item be
removed from the consent agenda and considered as a separate item.]

5. Receipt of report from the Planning & Zoning Commission.
A. Public Hearing and consideration of the petition of Paris Independent
School District, and action on an ordinance amending Zoning
Ordinance No. 1710, changing the zoning from an Agricultural District
(A) to a Public Lands and Institutions District (PLI) on Lot 1, City Block
350, being number 2255 S. Collegiate Drive.
6. Convene in Executive Session pursuant to [Section 551.071 of the Texas
Government Code], Consultation with Attorney, to receive advice of legal
counsel pertaining to pending or possible litigation and to receive advice of
legal counsel pursuant to the duty of an attorney to his client under the Texas
Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas,
regarding the following matters:
A. Housing Infrastructure Grant State Funding Program for Eastgate
Subdivision.
7. Reconvene in Open Session to possibly discuss and/or take action
regarding those matters discussed in the Executive Session.
8. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
A. Approving the bid and awarding the contract for the labor, materials,
and equipment for performing all work required for grounds
maintenance (mowing) on City of Paris parks and facilities to the
lowest responsible bidders.
9. Discussion of Casa Bonita Apartments and funding options for demolition.
10. Discussion and possible action on establishing a new procedure for
appointments to the various boards and commissions within the City of
Paris.

appointment of a Lake Pat Mayse Study Committee.
12. Discussion and action on establishment of car allowances for certain
positions.
13. Discussion and action on establishment of unified non-civil service pay
