RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Approve the Preliminary Plat for Paris Independent School District (proposed High School) of Lot 1,
City Block 350, being number 2255 S. Collegiate Drive.

BACKGROUND:
Paris Independent School District is requesting approval of the preliminary plat for the property on ~
which the future high school is proposed to be built.
BOARD~COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Commission recommended approval of the plat subject to the City Engineer's recommendation by a
vote of 5-0.

SUBJECT: New Paris High School - Jefferson Road
I have reviewed the preliminary plat ofthe above referenced addition. It appears that the preliminary
plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following exceptions:
1. Show the number of trees above 19 inches in diameter that will be removed.
2. Dedicate at least 40-feet of Right-of-Way for S. Collegiate along the West property line.
3. Make all of the utility easements a minimum of 15-feet wide.
4. Extend the water line along the Loop 286 to the eastern property line of lot 2.
5. Extend the public sewer line to the southwest corner of the property.
I recommend approval of the preliminary plat upon completion of the items above item.
