CITY COUNCIL AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in regular session on Monday, July 28, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows: Opening Agenda 1. Call meeting to order. 2. Invocation. 3. Pledge of Allegiance. 4. Citizens' forum. (Persons desiring to address the Council must limit their presentation to no more than two minutes. The Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Council from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the City, Council Members, or employees, as well as individual personnel appeals are not appropriate for citizens' forum.) Consent Agenda Items on the Consent Agenda are approved by a single action of the Council, with such approval applicable to all items appearing on the Consent Agenda. A Council Member may request any item to be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. 5. Deliberate and act on the approval of minutes from the meetings on July 10, 2008, July 14, 2008 and July 17, 2008. 6. Receive and deliberate on reports and/or minutes from the following boards, commissions, and committees: a. Planning and Zoning Commission. (7-14-2008) b. Board of Adjustment. (7-8-2008) 7. Deliberate on drainage ditch maintenance report. 8. Deliberate and act on a resolution approving and authorizing the execution of a contract with the Department of State Health Services Document No. 2009-028229-001 RLLS-Local Public Health System for Regional and Local Medical Services, and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. 9. Deliberate and act on a resolution approving and authorizing the execution of an amendment to contract with the Department of State Health Services Document No. 2008-024591-001 A NNW - WIC Card Participation for Regional and Local Medical Services, and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents.
