2002-071-RES APPOINTING MEMBERS TO AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD
RESOLUTION NO. 2002-071
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE AIRPORT ADVISORY
BOARD TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERMS OF MARK BUSTER AND
PAUL GOLDEN, WHICH EXPIRE DECEMBER 31, 2002; MAKING
OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there exist vacancies on the membership of the Airport Advisory Board of
the City of Paris due to the resignations of Mark Buster and Paul Golden, and it is necessary to
appoint their successors; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointments of
Andrew F. Fasken and Don Morrell to serve the unexpired terms of Mark Buster and Paul
Golden, which end December 31,2002; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That Andrew F. Fasken and Don Morrell be, and they are hereby, appointed
to serve the unexpired terms of Mark Buster and Paul Golden, which end December 31,2002, as
members of the Airport Advisory Board of the City of Paris.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
