Motion to approve the Final Plat of The Hills Phase V Subdivision
POLICY ISSUE(S):
Plat Approval
BACKGROUND:
This is the final plat for a nine-lot addition to The Hills subdivision. The lots on the west
side of the road will be large acreage lots that back up to a large pond and flood zone.
N.E. 33rd St. has been extended to the north in the subdivision, which is located of F.M.
195. The developer has already extended water and sewer mains to serve this phase. The
area is currently outside the city limits.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Commission recommended approval of the final plat, subject to City Engineer's
recommendations by a vote of 6-0.

SUBJECT: The Hills Phase V
I have reviewed the final plat of the above referenced addition. It appears that the final plat
complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following exceptions:
1. Provide the property owners names.
2. Move Block G inside the plat boundary on the east side of the street.
3. Label the Right-of-Way width.
4. Move all of the curve data to a table.
I recommend approval of the final plat upon submission of a corrected mylar copy with
signatures of the surveyor and owners prior to August 11, 2008.
