RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Covenant Christian
Church Addition 351, being located in the 4000 block of S.E. Loop 286.
POLICY ISSUE(S):
Plat Approval
BACKGROUND:
Covenant Christian Church is going to construct a new church on previously undeveloped
property in the 4000 block of the S.E. Loop. The proposed phase I of the building project
is approximately 25,000 square feet. The building will be fully sprinkled. The church
will be installing water lines and sewer lines that will be dedicated to the City of Paris. A
"Guarantee of Construction" has been completed to allow the final plat to be filed before
the infrastructure (water and sewer lines) is completed and accepted.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Commission recommended approval to the final plat by a vote of 5-0.

I have reviewed the final plat of the above referenced addition. It appears that the final plat
complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations. I recommend approval of the final plat
upon submission of a corrected mylar copy with signatures of the surveyor and owner prior to
August 22, 2008.
