A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD TO
SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF CINDY ALLCORN, WHICH EXPIRES
APRIL 30, 2010; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED
TO THE SUBjECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Main Street Advisory
Board of the City of Paris due to the resignation of Cindy Allcorn, and it is necessary to
appoint her successor; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment
of Marvin Gorley to serve the unexpired term of Cindy Allcorn, which ends April 30, 2010;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby
in all things approved.
Section 2. That Marvin Gorley be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve the
unexpired term of Cindy Allcorn, which ends Apri130, 2010, as a member of the Main Street
Advisory Board of the City of Paris.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
