Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in special session
on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the City Council
Chamber, 107 E. Kaufrnan Street in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted
upon are as follows:
Opening Agenda
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
Regular Agenda
4. Convene into Executive Session on the following matters:
a. Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to
discuss and deliberate an offer of financial or other incentive to
business prospects to locate, stay, or expand in Paris and
consider any commercial and financial information related to
the business prospect. b. Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code, to
discuss personnel matters pertaining to Municipal Court Judge
and Chief Building OfficiaL
5. Reconvene in open session to deliberate on matters discussed in
Executive Session.
6. Deliberate on possible future agenda items.
7. Adj ournment.
