2008-10-20CITY COUNCIL AMENDED AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in special session
on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the City Council
Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted
upon are as follows:
Opening Agenda
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
Regular Agenda
4. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.074(a)(1)
of the Texas Government Code, to discuss and deliberate the
appointment of a public officer to fill the vacancy in City Council
District 7 until the next regular election in May 2009.
5. Reconvene in open session to deliberate and act on matters
discussed in Executive Session.
6. Deliberate and act on a resolution appointing a qualified person to
fill the vacancy in City Council District 7 and to serve as City
Council Member for District 7 until the next regular election in
May 2009.
7. Deliberate on possible future agenda items.
8. Adjournment.
