Project update
BACKGROUND:
The City Manager has implemented an electronic process by which the citizens of Paris can submit
requests for service, questions or review frequently asked questions (FAQs). The Citizen Action Center
link is available on the City of Paris current website and will also be on the future website that is in
development.
The GovQA Service Module captures, routes, manages, searches and reports on all citizen requests for
service into a department - from inception through fulfillment. Every department can tailor the Service
Module to meet their individual needs - setting complex workflow rules, service level time triggers and
dynamic loan balancing routines to accommodate their environment. Meanwhile, GovQA will
accumulate the status of all activity across all departments in order to report comprehensive status to
government managers or elected officials. The Public Works and Code Enforcement departments are
receiving most of the service requests.
A public education effort will begin the week of December 8.
