2001-013-RES APPOINTING MEMBERS TO HOUSING BOARD FOR OWNER-OCCUPIED HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
RESOLUTION NO. 2001-013
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HOUSING BOARD
FOR THE OWNER-OCCUPIED HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM;
MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has over a period of several years been receiving grants under
the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, Texas Home Investment Partnership
Program, Owner-Occupied Housing Assistance Program; and,
WHEREAS, one of the requirements of the said grant is the establishment of a Housing
Board; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on June 9, 1997, in
Resolution No. 97-059, establish the Housing Board for the Owner-Occupied Housing Assistance
Program; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that board appointments be made to the Housing Board for the
Owner-Occupied Housing Assistance Program for the current grant program, being HOME No.
530395, and the appointments of Maria Pope, Rick Hundley, William Heuberger, Effie Grandberry,
and Crista Cherry should, in all things, be approved; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That the appointments of Maria Pope, Rick Hundley, William Heuberger, Effie
Grandberry, and Crista Cherry to the Housing Board for the Owner-Occupied Housing Assistance
Program be, and the same are hereby, approved.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
