A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENT NO.1 TO EXISTING LEASE NO. DTFA07-93-L-01l43 BY
AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF PARIS AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION (FAA) TO INCLUDE PROVISIONSREGARIlING THE
LEASE OF THE DIRECTION FINDER (DF) ANTENNA SITE, ACCESS
ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY, AND NECESSARY CABLE ROUTE AND
CONDUIT EASEMENTS AT COX FIELD AIRPORT; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has, by prior Lease No. DTF A07 -81-L-0 11 06 by and between
the City of Paris and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), provided for the siting of the
Direction Finder (DF) Antenna Site and associated facilities at Cox Field Airport; and,
WHEREAS, the aforesaid prior Lease No. DTFA07-81-L-01106 will expire by its own
terms on September 30, 2001, unless superceded before said expiration date by a new or
supplemental lease agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has provided the City a proposed
supplemental lease agreement to existing Lease No. DTFA07-93-L-01143 by and between the City
of Paris and the Federal Aviation Administration, which said supplement would merge the lease
provisions regarding the Direction Finder (DF) Antenna Site, access road right-of-way, and necessary
cable route and conduit easements into and as part of said existing lease; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said proposed supplemental lease agreement and
finds and determines that approval of said supplemental lease agreement is necessary for the
continued successful operation of the Cox Field Airport, for the safety of all aircraft utilizing said
airport, and to the general benefit of the City of Paris and its citizens; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That Supplemental Agreement No. I to existing Lease No. DTFA07-93-L-01143
by and between the City of Paris and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the use ofthe
Direction Finder (DF) Antenna Site, access road right-of-way, and necessary cable route and conduit
easements, a copy of which said supplemental lease agreement is attached hereto as Exhibit A and
for all purposes incorporated herein, shall be, and is hereby in all things, approved, and the Mayor
is hereby authorized to execute and the City Clerk to attest to said supplemental agreement.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.

SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. I
THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of
, 200 I, by and between the CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, whose address
is: P.o. Box 9037, Paris, Texas 75461-9037, hereinafter called the Lessor, and the UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA, hereinafter called the Government, WITNESSETH, That:
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of February, 1993, the parties hereto entered into Lease No.
DTF A07-93-L-01143 for the consideration and purposes more particularly stated in said lease;
and,
WHEREAS, the Government's Lease No. DTFA07-81-L-OII06, providing an area of
land for the direction finder (DF) antenna site, expires by its terms on September 30, 2001; and,
WHEREAS, the parties hereto mutually desire to add the DF antenna site to this lease.
NOW THEREFORE, effective October 1,2001, the parties hereto mutually agree to
amend the basic lease in the following particulars only, VIZ:
Article I. Add the following:
DIRECTION FINDER (DF) ANTENNA SITE
A circular plot with a II O-feet radius centered on the direction finder (DF) antenna, an
access road right-of-way, and necessary easements for cable routes and conduits under Runway
13/31, Runway 17/35, and Taxiway A, located on Cox Field, Paris, Texas, as more particularly
shown on Exhibit "C", Drawing No. SW-D-9525, revised November 16, 1998, attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS of the basic lease are hereby ratified and
except as amended hereinabove shall be and remain the same.
