2002-106-RES APPOINT MEMBERS TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT r- --. RESOLUTION NO. 2002-106 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the terms of office ofF. D. Mallory, III, Edith Bills, W. M. Lightfoot, Toni Clem, and Richard Nafe, as members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris, expired on December 31, 2000; and, WHEREAS, the terms of office of Bill Davidson and Tommy Gantt, as alternate members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris, expired on June 30, 2001; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointments of Edith Bills, W. M. Lightfoot, Toni Clem, and Richard Nafe and the appointment of Tommy Gantt as members of the Board of Adjustment for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 2001, and ending December 31,2002; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of Steve Glover as an alternate member of the Board of Adjustment for a term of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2003; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That Edith Bills, W. M. Lightfoot, Toni Clem and Richard Nafe be, and they are hereby, reappointed, and that Tommy Gantt be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve as members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 2001, and ending December 31, 2002. Section 3. That Steve Glover be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve as an alternate member of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris for a term of two (2) years, beginning July 1,2001, and ending June 30, 2003.
