RESOLUTION NO. 2002-115
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 2002
YEAR MODEL 2-WHEEL DRIVE, 90HP (PTO) TRACTOR FOR USE AT
THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 11th day of
March, 2002, in Resolution No. 2002-049, approve the advertisement for bids for the purchase
of a 2002 Year Model 2- Wheel Drive, 90 HP (PTO) Tractor for use at the Water Treatment Plant,
which bids were received until 3:00 o'clock p.m., Tuesday, the 2nd day of July, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Utilities has recommended that all bids for such equipment
be rejected and that such equipment not be purchased from the current fiscal year funds; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That all bids for the purchase of a 2002 Year Model 2- Wheel Drive, 90 HP
(PTO) Tractor for use at the Water Treatment Plant be, and the same are hereby, rejected.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 8th day of July, 2002.
