RESOLUTION NO. 2003-175
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE OF COUNCIL MEETING DATE;
MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, due to the confluence of the holiday schedule and the standard agenda
preparation schedule for the regular Thursday meeting scheduled for January 8, 2004, it is deemed
appropriate that said regular Thursday meeting be consolidated with the regular Monday meeting
of the City Council scheduled for January 12, 2004; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That the regular Thursday meeting of the City Council scheduled for January
8, 2004, be, and the same is hereby, consolidated with the regular Monday meeting of the City
Council scheduled for January 12, 2004, at 6:00 o'clock p.m.
Section 3. That a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Hall Bulletin Board giving
notice of the rescheduling of the regular Thursday January Council meeting, and that the news
media be informed of the rescheduled date in the same manner they are informed of emergency
City Council meetings.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
