2003-100-RES APPOINT MEMBERS TO LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD
RESOLUTION NO. 2003-100
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY
BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of John Howison, Joyce Kennemer, and Sarah Gambill,
as members of the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30,2003; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointments
of Joyce Kennemer and Sarah Gambill and the appointment of Jackie Alsobrook for terms of three
(3) years, beginning July 1,2003, and ending June 30,2006; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS.
Section 1. That the fmdings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That Joyce Kennemer and Sarah Gambill be, and they are hereby, reappointed
and that Jackie Alsobrook be, and she is hereby appointed to serve as members of the Library
Advisory Board of the City of Paris for terms of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 2003, and
ending June 30,2006.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
