RESOLUTION NO. 2003-094
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE PARIS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERMS OF JAY GUEST
AND CURTIS FENDLEY, wmCH END JULY 19, 2004; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there exist vacancies on the membership on the Board of Directors of the
Paris Economic Development Corporation due to the resignations of Jay Guest and Curtis Fendley,
and it is necessary to appoint their successors; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointments of
Sims Norment and Rodney Bass to serve the unexpired terms of Jay Guest and Curtis Fendley,
which end July 19,2004; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That Sims Norment and Rodney Bass be, and they are hereby, appointed to
serve the unexpired terms of Jay Guest and Curtis Fendley, which ends July 19, 2004, as members
of the Board of Directors of the Paris Economic Development Corporation.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
