RESOLUTION NO. 2003-032
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE OF COUNCIL MEETING DATE;
MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, various City officials are scheduled to attend a professional meeting out of
the city during the time-frame March 7 through 11, 2003, which conflicts with the regularly
scheduled City Council meeting on Monday, March 10, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the regular Monday meeting of the City Council
scheduled for March 10, 2003, be consolidated with the regular Thursday meeting of the City
Council scheduled for March 6,2003; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the fmdings s.et out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That the regular Monday meeting of the City Council scheduled for March 10,
2003, be, and the same is hereby, consolidated with the regular Thursday meeting of the City
Council scheduled for March 6,2003, at 6:00 o'clock p.m.
Section 3. That a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Hall Bulletin Board giving
notice of the rescheduling of the regular Monday March Council meeting, and that the news media
be informed of the rescheduled date in the same manner they are informed of emergency City
Council meetings.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
