2004-113-RES APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD
RESOLUTION NO. 2004-113
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY
BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Peggy Guthrie, Bill Kennedy, and Carl Lucas as
members of the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30, 2004; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointments
of Bill Kennedy and Carl Lucas and the appointment of Jake Street for terms of three (3) years,
beginning July 1,2004, and ending June 30,2007; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS.
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That Bill Kennedy and Carl Lucas be, and they are hereby, reappointed and
that Jake Street be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve as members of the Library Advisory
Board of the City of Paris for terms of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 2004, and ending June
30,2007.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
