RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Report on the status of the demolition of the Casa Bonita Aparhnent Complex.
POLICY ISSUE(S):

BACKGROUND:
During the week of January 5, Intercon Demolition commenced demolition on 22 buildings (including
those located on adjacent property not owned by the City) in the Casa Bonita Apartment complex. All
structures are now on the ground, and Intercon is in the process of removing the debris. They expect
this process to be completed in three weeks. Thereafter, they will begin breaking up concrete building
pads and parking lots. This second phase is anticipated to take approximately four to five weeks. They
anticipate a final completion date of mid to late April.
