Move to approve the Preliminary and Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Mirabeau Square 287 Addition being
number 3552 Lamar Avenue, subject to the City Engineer's recommendations.

BACKGROUND:
This is the preliminary and final plat for Mirabeau Shopping Center located in the 3200 block of Lamar
Avenue. The shopping center property had never been platted before and some of the utilities did not
have dedicated easements. The plats have been corrected and only need signatures. The signed
documents should be submitted prior to the council meeting and ready for the mayor to sign if approved.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Commission recommended approval of the master plat and preliminary plat, subject to City
Engineer's recommendations by a vote of 6-0 on each plat.

SUBJECT: Paris Towne Center 287 Addition
1 have reviewed the preliminary plat of the above referenced addition. It appears that the
preliminary plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following
exceptions.
l. Change the name of the subdivision the current name is to similar to a current subdivision
2. Show and label the two different zonings on this lot
3. Show all water lines and storm sewer lines
4. Add a drainage easement for the existing concrete lined channel
5. Add emergency access easements (Fire Lanes) in the front and rear of the center
6. Change the minimum utility easeinent width from 10-feet to 15-feet
I recommend approval of the preliminary plat upon completion of the above items.

I recommend approval of the final plat upon submission of a corrected mylar copy with
signatures of the surveyor and owners prior to noon on May 11, 2009.
