A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT; MAKING
OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Rodney Bass, Terry Christian, Howard Corriston,
Kyle McCarley and Chester Martindale, as members of the Board of Adjustment of the City
of Paris, expired on December 31, 2008; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, does hereby recommend the
reappointment of Kyle McCarley, and the appointment of Rick Hundley for terms of three
(3) years, beginning May 1, 2009, and ending April 30, 2012 which leaves three (3) regular
positions remaining vacant on the Board of Adjustment to be filled later.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby
in all things approved.
Section 2. That Kyle McCarley be, and he is hereby reappointed, and Rick
Hundley be, and he is hereby appointed to serve as members of the Board of Adjustment of
the City of Paris for terms of three (3) years, beginning May 1, 2009, and ending April 30,
2012.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of
passage.
