A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD; MAKING
OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Jackie Alsobrook and Deborah Anderson, as
members of the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris, will expire on April 30, 2009;
and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, does hereby recommend the re-
appointment of Deborah Anderson and the appointment of Audrey L. Lakes for terms of
three (3) years, beginning May 1, 2009, and ending Apri130, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby
in all things approved.
Section 2. That Deborah Anderson be, and she is hereby reappointed to serve as
a member of the Library Advisory Board for a term of three (3) years, beginning May 1,
2009, and ending April 30, 2012, and Audrey L. Lakes be, and she is hereby appointed to
serve as a member of the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris for a term of three (3)
years, beginning May 1, 2009, and ending April 30, 2012.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of
passage.
