A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD;
MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Jennifer Long and Karol Lyn Moore, as members of
the Main Street Advisory Board of the City of Paris, will expire on April 30, 2009; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, does hereby recommend the appointment
of Wendi Hildreth Signer to replace Jennifer Long for a term of three (3) years, beginning
May 1, 2009, and ending April 30, 2012 which leaves one position remaining vacant on the
Main Street Advisory Board to be filled later.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby
in all things approved.
Section 2. That Wendi Hildreth Signer be, and she is hereby appointed to serve
as a member of the Main Street Advisory Board of the Ciry of Paris for a term of three (3)
years, beginning May 1, 2009, and ending April 30, 2012.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of
passage.
