A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT; MAKING
OTHER FI111DINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Terry Christian, Howard Corriston, and Chester
Martindale, as members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris, expired on
December 31, 2008; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, does hereby recommend the
reappointment of Terry Christian and Chester Martindale, and the appointment of Allen
Moore for terms of three (3) years, beginning May 1, 2009, and ending April 30, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby
in all things approved.
Section 2. That Terry Christian and Chester Martindale be, and they are hereby
reappointed to serve and Allen Moore be, and he is hereby appointed to serve as members
of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris for terms of three (3) years, beginning May
1, 2009, and ending Apri130, 2012.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of
passage.
