A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BUILDING STANDARDS COMMISSION;
MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Lucius Joe, Jr. and Harrell Tippitt, as members of
the Building and Standards Commission the City of Paris, expired on April 30, 2009; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, does hereby recommend the
appointments of Leann Barbee and Wendell Moore for terms of three (3) years, beginning
May 1, 2009, and ending April 30, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby
in all things approved.
Section 2. That Leann Barbee and Wendell Moore be and they are hereby
appointed to serve as members of the Building Standards Commission of the City of Paris
for terms of three (3) years, beginning May 1, 2009, and ending Apri130, 2012.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of
passage.
