A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE TRAFFIC COMMISSION; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Bee Garmon, Dr. Calabria, and Stephen "Red"
Holmes, as members of the Traffic Commission the City of Paris, expired on Apri130, 2009;
and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, does hereby recommend the
reappointment of Stephen "Red" Holmes and the appointment of Ken Kohls to replace Dr.
Calabria, for terms of three (3) years, beginning May 1, 2009, and ending April 30, 2012,
which leaves one (1) regular position remaining vacant on the Traffic Commission to be
filled later.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby
in all things approved.
Section 2. That Stephen "Red" Holmes be and he is hereby reappointed to serve,
and Ken Kohls be and he is hereby appointed to serve as members of the Traffic
Commission of the City of Paris for terms of three (3) years, beginning May 1, 2009, and
ending April 30, 2012.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of
passage.
