RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Preliminary Plat of Lot 1& 2, Block A, Coplin Square CB 249 Addition being
located in the 3070 block of Lamar Avenue.

BACKGROUND:
Wayne Brown has submitted this plat in order to build a commercial business on the property located at
3070 Lamar Avenue.
This preliminary plat shows that a fire hydrant will be installed on the north side of Lamar Ave. and the
sewer line along the south side of Lamar Ave. will need to be extended west to give lot 1 sewer access.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Commission recommended approval of the preliminary plat, subject to City Engineer's
recommendations, b a vote of 5-0.

SUBJECT: Coplin Square CB 249 Preliminary Plat
I have reviewed the preliminary plat of the above referenced addition. It appears that the
preliminary plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following
exceptions.
1. Provide the acreage for lot 1 and 2.
2. No preliminary drainage plan was submitted, note #2 on the plat states that a detailed
drainage plan to be provided with site plan on each lot.
3. Submit civil site plans to the Engineering, Planning and Development Department for
review.
1 recommend approval of the preliminary plat upon completion of the above items.
