BACKGROUND:
This is the preliminary plat for Lot 1, Block A, Kroger Addition located at 1310 Clarksville Street. The
owner is proposing to add a gasoline service area.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Commission recommended approval of the preliminary plat, subject to City Engineer's
recommendation by a vote of 5-0 on the preliminary plat.

SUBJECT: Kroger Addition Preliminary Plat
I have reviewed the preliminary plat of the above referenced addition. It appears that the
preliminary plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following
exceptions.
1. Add a contact person and phone number for the owner.
2. Remove "\FINAL PLAT" from the plat, this will only be a preliminary plat.
3. Revise the plat name to "Kroger Addition 112".
4. Show the building setback lines on the plat.
5. Show utility lines in Clarksville St. that will be tapped for the proposed gas station.
6. Right-of-Way (ROW) dedication is required on all of the road frontages. The Major
Thoroughfare Plan calls for Clarksville St. to be an Arterial level roadway with a
minimum of 80-feet of ROW, SE 14`h and Sherman Street call for 50-feet of ROW. The
following dedications are required: Clarksville St. 10-feet, SE 14th St. 10-feet and
Sherman St. 5-feet.
I recommend approval of the preliminary plat upon completion of the above items.
