BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to Section 45 of the Paris City Charter and Chapter 102 of the Texas Local Government Code,
the City Manager is required to submit the proposed budget to City Council between thirty and ninety
days prior to the beginning of each fiscal year. A copy of the proposed 2009-2010 budget was delivered
to each Council Member on August 6, 2009.
