This committee would be responsible for identifying Paris's / Lamar County's strengths, areas for opportunity, and defining the direction we would like to grow as a community. One of the outputs of this committee would be to define clear, measurable, milestones for which to monitor our progress. This committee should be visionary in nature developing 5, 10, 20 and 20+ year goals based on the direction we want to move. The committee should be comprised of a cross functional group of citizens representing multiple facets of our community. The proposed list is contained on page #2 of this document. We wish this list to be included in the Agenda Information Packets as food for thought for the other council members. Lastly this is a joint request from Kevin Kear and Rhonda Rogers. This would be for discussion and possible action.
