BACRGROUND:
The term of the City Manager's employment agreement is 36 months. Section 1.2 of the agreement
states that at the end of the first 24 months the Council may extend the agreement for an additional 12
months, i.e. months 37-48. The end of the first 24 months is August 27, 2009. ,
