RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to deny a Preliminary Plat of Lots 9 and 10, Block A, Pecan Place Phase II Addition, located in
the 4000 Block of Pine Mill Road.
POLICY ISSUE(S):
Plat Approval
BACKGROUND:
The Planning and Zoning Commission did not have a quorum at its September 7 meeting. Staff must
recommend denial because the State of Texas requires Cities to act on plats within 30 days or they stand
approved as submitted. This plat was submitted on Aug. 21 so the 30 day deadline is September 20. A
special P&Z meeting is being planned for the week of the 14th to take action on this plat and it will then
be placed on the September 28 City Council meeting for action.
This is the preliminary plat for Lots 9 and 10, Block A, Pecan Place Phase II Addition located in the
4000 Block of Pine Mill Road. The owner is proposing to build duplexes.
